Haha...i'm surprised the nature ppl haven't come in yet. This really depends on what u shoot. I'm easily over 10kg on nature shoots and way less on street shoots.

SzeKiat, 1 lens + 1 body + 1 tripod + 1 head + flash + etc already more than 10Kg. The Nature or rather Birders can be excluded from the poll lah. :lovegrin:

Usually just a wide and a short telephoto prime for a light walk about for me.
But when i go overseas , it might just add up to almost 10kg

Non-paid shoot 1 body 2 lens =~3kg?
Paid assignment 2/3 bodies ~12 lenses a bag carrier alone ~3kg = ~20kg?

I usually plan and know what I want to shoot. So I don't usually carry extra lens. Roughly 2-3kg inclusive of bag. I don't enjoy the shoot as much when I lug too many gears on me.
