The campaign has been withdrawn, but based on the PetaPixel coverage, he was offering workshops and photoshoots as "rewards" depending on amount of donation.

So, it seems like normal photography business deal? Pay money, get product/service, except he was being very specific about how he was going to use the money received.

I have seen people using 7D or 60D for wedding job. My bro uses a D800E for wedding job in Australia. I always have the impression that the D4/ D4s is actually targeted more to sports photography (not that it couldn't be use for wedding though).
