PlayStation 3 vs BlueRay Player

PlayStation 3 with BlueRay DVD inbuild versus a dedicated BlueRay DVD player.

Is there a major difference in the two player? Which is prefer?

Contemplating whether to buy a PS3 or a BlueRay DVD player...

Any kind of assistance most appreciated.

Ther was a big roundup on CNet. Final verdict is that the PS3 is probably THE BEST BD player. And it's cheaper than a dedicated player too.
