Hi guys and gals.

Previously got a Sony Slt A65 to do up some product videos. It serves it purpose well but there is 1 small problem.

The lcd display is flip downwards not like Canon where it is flip sideways.

Is there any comparable model that is around the same budget as the Sony?

Think I bought it second hand at 300 plus previously.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Canon 200D's LCD flips out sideways as does their G5X.
200D has a mic jack that may be important if you require audio.
Let me check it out thanks

The 200D's specs should be quite similar to the A65, the major difference should just be autofocus in video. If it's in your budget, I strongly recommend the 200D.

If you don't mind buying used, the 600/650/700D are also pretty fantastic. The autofocus is probably not as good as the 200D's and there's no 1080p at 60fps, but used ones have been running around 300-400 in recent months for body only. They all have tilting-flipping touchscreens and microphone input. HDMI output is also supported if you are using an external monitor. Personally have used the 700D for the past few years shooting everything from travel videos to short films to promotional videos, so it should serve your purpose fairly well. (Plus, Magic Lantern is supported!)
