Plan to go KL at August Holiday (7/8,8/8,9/8)

Need some tip?

where to shoot? where to stay?

Stay at the heritage hotel. Shoot the KTMB HQ building.

Or if you prefer shopping, stay at the Cititel hotel and shoot mid valley megamall.

If you want cool weather & mountains, go Genting or Bukit Tinggi.

In KL can shoot the twin towers and the adjacent park.

choose to stay somewhere near bukit bintang if you want to shop. all within walking distance. the chinatown area also within walking distance.

If you are the party type, choose Concorde hotel the water holes all nearby.

If you travel by coach then choose Impiana hotel opp. Pudu raya bus station.

My opinion, Cititel hotel & hotel Nova, Allson genesis room very small. if you stay at cititel, be prepared to take cab and enjoy the massive rush hour jam when you go to heart of the city.

Furama hotel right inside chinatown. No frills...thrill I'm not so sure.

Park plaza international hotel nice and quiet. but 1 cemetery at next lot. nice interior though.

some other hotels changed name so not sure.

Marriot, Istana, Ritz Carlton more expensive but

You also consider additional possible shooting locations such as Batu Caves (a limestone cave), and KL Tower and Muzium Negara (Malaysia's national museum)

Park Rayol Hotel is   . Price is reasonable. Very comfortable. A bit like Gallery Hotel in Singapore. It is also near shopping like Time Square and Lot 10. Just my 2 cents worth. ;)

good news is it's fairly easy to go as just follow to 'airport' road sign, halfway follow the 'putrajaya' road sign

bad news is almost impossible to take cab or bus there. you need someone to give you a ride there.

to take cab, it almost cost you a bomb, bus i'm not that sure cos never took that and never heard got any, train wise, you can take the airport express train to there but you still need a car to travel around.

good time for shooting putrajaya can be evening or nite time. pretty cool..
