Was trying my friend's 50mm f1.8 lens with my Nikon D60. Photo below shows a pig gazing at her owner & waiting to be fed w/ some money. That's why it's called piggy bank :D

Photo was taken on a table w/ the following settings:
50mm f1.8 exposure 1/30 sec
ISO 400
indoor around 4 pm

PP: adjust hue/saturation, adjust contrast, lens correction.

Need ur comments & suggestions on all areas that need to be improved (composition, etc).

Thanks.

A very pleasing shot. Nice, clean, well executed.

Likewise, I would prefer the background cleaned up.

a hand with a coin will complete this picture i feel..

nice shot overall.. though i'd suggest cleaning up the parquet floor.. seems to have some spots here and there.. =)

thanks. ops.. should hv cleaned the table b4 taking the shot :embrass:

will try ur suggestion to take a new shot w/ hand & coin :)

for a second i thought those spots were 10cents coins. If possible include the coins dropping from mid-air towards the piggy bank...

Also a white cloth to cover the window to give it a even lighting can also be an idea. The windows reflection on the piggy bank's face is quite obvious...

Hi agusprayudhi,

This is a great shot!

The background (especially the right side) is quite sparse though. You might like to throw in some coins or any suitable objects of your fancy to fill up the space (but blur these objects using depth of field (DOF) so that the piggy bank stands out). Use objects of a contrasting colour from the piggy bank and the table if possible.
