i am so so sorry, i forgot to write it down. i just take a few shots, make minor adjustments and choose final pic. I will take it down next time. As this is my first outing i just thought of giving my D70 a test drive without expecting anything wonderful. just wanted to ask whether the compostion of the photos are ok? the placing of the subject ect...any comments.thanks for yr time. :bsmilie:

Urm... your original JPEGs/NEFs should have the EXIF information.

There's nothing wrong with the noise in the pics. They are just suffering badly from the extreme jpeg compression you have applied.

hi,

i felt that the first picture is bit underExposure for the building. A suggested time to take the picure maybe at about 1915hrs - 1945hrs. The people that is sitting around the merlion have be quite distracting, as I am sure they are not the main subject at all. Nice composition though.

For the second picture, maybe you would like to move your camera slightly to the left. as i find that there are too little of the bridge and too much 'empty space' on the right side.

anyway. keep shooting and we will get there.

hi panda, thanks for being kind with yr comments..the first pic was actually taken by a fisheye len. unfortunately i had not mastered the art of using a fisheye yet, so effect is not there.hehe :bsmilie:
