I bought the Phottix battery grip from reddootphoto early last month and to me so far so good. Initially wanted to buy Phottix battery EN-EL3e as well but afraid their might cause problem to my camera. I never try the original battery grip for the D90 but looking at the price compare to the Phottix one is so much different. Btw, this Phottix battery grip is Made In China, just to scare you off....:bsmilie: And it doesn't come with printed warranty card, which caused me feel a little bit uncomfortable. My advice is if you got enough dough to spend, buy the original never look at the third party and you'll feel more comfortable.
