In anticipation of getting the Canon 20D, I'd like to start fooling around with Photoshop.

Any suggestions on where I can get it at a reasonable price ?

or see if adobe has a trial download to see if it is enough for you.

No need to buy, it comes together with purchase of 20D, I think it is the Photoshop Element.

If you do intend to get a licenced copy of PS you should get hold of a student or a teacher to help you get it at academic pricing...it should be a few hundred $$$ off the RRP.

The Mac and PC version for Adobe Photoshop CS is around S$1800/- (max price). Educational version for both platforms are at S$800/- (max price) THe Adobe Creative Suite Premium CS is S$2200/- (max price).

Yah.... in fact there's also another version called Photoshop CS (PF) which costs only $10 at all leading Blond Beng shops. :bsmilie:

I only have Photoshop Elements 2, and if I'm not wrong, it lacks many features found in Photoshop 7. Of course, it can be as good as PS7 if you know the workaround. The extra features in PS7 probably means you take less clicks to get the job done.
