Dear All,

I would like to know how to highlight olny some area of the picture to be in color while the rest keep it black n white ????????

use a layer mask, then paint back the areas you want to keep in colour with black.

yep, you can even do the long way for selecting all the areas you want to keep in colour, then change the other areas to b&w.

i dont know if it is translatable to ps. i use psp7

duplicate the layer >>> colorize them to blacknwhite. you can also achieve this thru desaturation of 0. just suit your own needs.

then use the eraser tool and erase off the part you want colored
