Photoshop DI

Hi all, im a toy collector, i have noticed this guy's work for a long time and have always wondered how to achieve this look. Would any D.I expert here be able to help?

i see little DI done to this image. maybe just brightness/contrast and spot healing. it is about the lighting and how right you get the first time...

the set up is rather simple

You can tell how his set up for this shot by just looking at the reflection on the helmet.

the toy is place on the highly reflective black color background.

and I don't think this shot need a lot of DI work, if does, he could have DI the reflection on the helmet too.

you can mouse over the image to see the difference

the retouch version beside fine tune the color and contrast level, soften the edge line of the highlight, adding new highlight, dust clearing and spotting. etc.
