Woot .. new thread.. Paiseh and hope you all don't mind that I re-copy from the previous one i just added..

Some shots during Christmas Day.. went around to test the DA50-135.. my first ever DA*zoom lens...

SDM focus is silent, focus may not be as fast as screw drive, however, it is not that bad. Not sure if convert to Screw drive, how big is the difference.

Preparation of decorations for Chinese New Year.. Woot..

Christmas still around..

Activities on the roads of Orchard Road. The performer taking photos of people watching..

Santarina in the crowds.

nice one! any problems with security using the panosaurus up there?
Thanks.

I did not have a problem with security despite shooting with it and the clamp there the numerous times I went up when I stayed there.
However, I did take care to choose a less conspicuous place not in full view of security (usually they are at the entrance).
I also did check if a security personnel was nearby when I setup (tip : do it once the patrol passes)
As with such things, its subject to the security personnel at that time and luck.

I brought both tripod and clamp, but to get the best positions/view, the clamp is a must (mho).
But please exercise discretion.
I hope no one reads this and go clamp clamp clamp until they break the glass panels of the viewing deck and everyone gets banned from then on.

K30+DA15ltd
(5 frame pano with the panosaurus)

Large version here.

I do think CS should step up the largest display size as bandwidth and camera capability has increased over the years.
Wow very nice..

I thought CS allow to share link for bigger image? In the Sony A7/A7R Sharing thread, there's someone sharing its full size.. but it makes my phone hang while trying to view the photos and my slow computer struggle to handle the file size though.

your 1st DA* lens? i cant believe that given the lenses that you seem to own ;p

i got my DA*50-135 converted recently at the mini gathering..the focusing speed is as fast if not faster..somehow with SDM..the lens will hesitate abit before confirming focus..something like..'do i want to focus..hmm..let me think about..do you really want me to focus on it..ok i will focus then'..on a k3 screwdrive..its like..'do you want me to focus on it? ok i will focus on it then'
