these are vitamins for some, and poison to others... art & porn are just that hair thin line apart...

I hope the vitamins are not poisons and poisons are not vitamins. The reasons I bought this up is that I have another group of girls from Europe pose for these types of magazine (seen their portfolios) and they would very much like to come.

Well I am not sure how many people can accept these type of photography and I hope not offending anyone or this forum. Its better to ask before I bring them in cos their fee varies from style of shoots.

hv not read any of such magz ... what kinds of photos ?

I will not give 2nd chances to any photographer here from now onwards. Any postings that contravenes the law will go straight to MDA appraisal unit and police licencing unit. I am sure they will be interested to investigare all the photographers, models and personel involved in shooting such themes. Its time everyone exercise responsible posting.

I was about to post some samples here, I guess now cannot liao :( ... Anyway, TL means well too, don't be hard on him... :) If you wanna get hard, I send you some photos

Playboy mag has always marketed and sell their pic as tastefully done.

As for Penthouse, Hustler and the rest, they show pic of private parts which can be, well gross.

The FHMs, Maxims, Curves.....have almost the same theme as Playboy execpt that the models got clothes on :D

Well, if i'm not wrong, the Indonesian version of Playboy has clothes on too. Like what you say, I think Playboy mag is more a lifestyle mag, like Stuff. Maxim, FHM//..etc, but sans the clothes..

I subscribed to Penthouse over here in new york last time. it's quite disappointing...the photography is really cliched and done in the soft focus style alot of times
Playboy is b-o-r-i-n-g

check out Stuff magazine. the photography is excellent, last time I checked the girls made me hiiiigggggh

Alamak, after that silly operation by Sion nothing in me can become hard anymore.....:-(

agreed, both playboy and penthouse are a bit.. well.. boring.
they seem to have settled into their house style, which also seems to include some very heavy handed photoshopping/airbushing - resulting in some odd looks and particularly 80s style shots.

hegre is something different. i think its more euro-centric [not surprising] - and therefore alot more risque [or even 'hard'] when compared to american or anything published in the far east.
if you have seen scandinavian or continental european nude photography before, then its not a great leap from there, but the clarity and style used is clean, and almost innocent.

none of them are safe for this forum.

what i will say is that i regard playboy and penthouse - as posted on this thread by others - as simply lifestyle magazines. nothing out of the ordinary when sat on your [or my] coffee table.
i would put hegre there too.

but, 'another mans porn is another mans art', and while *none* of them broach true hardcore pornography, they might titter on softcore [although no erect penises ever enter the frame] .
personally, its also about context, and they are not sold as pornographic consumption, and ive never treated them as such.

i do know that everyone has different tastes and can easily see that some people would simply write them off as porn, which, imho, is a great shame [as they miss out on some great shapes, lighting, lines, compositions, ideas in what is simply another genre of photography]

Still pictures are nice, but some may prefer moving pictures

They are lifestyle magazines for the horny. Just like geylang is a lifestyle mall for the horny.

There are private lessons in Geylang for those who don't want to self-learn. :bsmilie:

r they MOE approved? :bsmilie: any recommendations? :bsmilie:
