Photographing CRYSTAL Products

Hi all,

I'm helping a friend to take some pictures of crystal products so that she can set up her blog-shop to sell the stuff. I reckon that crystals are highly reflective product and hence, what will be the best way to shoot it and are there any things that I should be looking out for when photographing it ? What type of setup (eg. at the background) will be able to make the crystal products stand out ?

Just google a bit for jewelry and photography. Plenty of tutorials out there that explain how to do it.

From background setup, what light to use, light modifiers like mirrors etc.
