Let us examine the Photographer hallmark

A letter from K Kalidas published in TODAY on 28th March, 2007 highlighted that “Honesty and integrity are the hallmark of our ministers”.

Just a query to find out why can’t photographers adopt the same principle?

"Honesty and integrity" = Do not PP photos and do not hide in one corner to take pictures of others?

Just my guess :D

Honesty and integrity = P&P without makeup or hair mousse? Wild stallion hair with pimples?

We could understand the reasons for the attempts at the
creating process:

1. PP of photos
2. Hiding at one corner to take pictures of others
3. PP without makeup or hair mousse
4. Playing around in the darkroom
5. Being a businessman
or even attempts at the things we did to the our brain, what then is NPNT?

 :)

npnt is another forum language which means NO PICTURE NO TALK

very simple. because we are not paid $1.6 million...

I believe a few of the very business-minded photographers are slowly getting there. :)

Sure is, when commercial photographers knows the language of providing an effective
business through photography while holding a sound philosophy that get the customers
keep coming back for more.

A hungry and greedy man can do anything from stealing to being dishonest in order to
get what he wants... especially for his stomach. In other words photographers got to
learn good business practices and implement them. :)

Kopitiam is supposed for discussing anything under the sun. However I am not sure if
this is true that the mod here have the right to decide what we should or should not
discuss....viz beliefs and the word "religion" even though our Prime Minister has called
on the citizens to go about knowing more deeper into the teachings of all faith for the
purpose of knowing how to live happily and in harmony with prosperity with one
another.

When mod stops all discussions on these topics, what they do not know is that they
have just wanted to have peace and not flame war in exchange for important
knowledge.

Even our SM has now acknowledge that deeper knowledge into a subject
is good for all of us. He was speaking on TV last night explaining the reasons for
Singapore being no ordinary island.

Maybe people should stop exploiting and screwing photographers first. Then we can talk about “Honesty and integrity and fair price". :bsmilie:
