Hi guys,

Where do u guys store ur photo?
My HDD is running out of space, keeping too much photos
I go for shooting spree at least once a week and i keep all the photo(even the no good ones)
now my HDD is running out.

Do u all store photo in another storage or juz inside the PC HDD?
Hope to hear from all the pros outthere.
Thanks

i've external hdds ..

320gb X2
80gb X1
40gb X1

still no space. then i realise... why dont i just burn the pics to cd. just keep the raw format.

so now i've only used 320gb and the rest of my pics are on dvd

Go and get yourself a one terabyte external hard disk. Should last for a while.

Don't forget to backup, backup and backup your precious pictures. Hard disk will crash and DVDs will fail to read after a while.

Built in HDD 600Gb

Still might not be enough after a year

external harddisk.. esp the portable ones.. they look like thin pack of cards. and i currently have 2 external in black and pink. think it will definitely look good stacked together..

Just bought a 1TB drive...

what else?, there is nothing else in the market that stores pictures besides hard disk. just get the TB ones and forget about the GB ones cause it is more worth it and since you will use the space...

I quite kiasu.. I have 3 1TB external hardrives.. and some smaller 180,320 GB external portable hardrives.. ;p

I have a 320GB HDD to store photos only..... and another 1TB HDD to back it up.

I keep all decent looking RAW files. I can convert them later if I need them. And process only those which I want to show in my flickr... occasionally, I'll dig them out and check thru again.

the 1TB harddisk price quite cheap nowadays. compared to the time when i got my 1st 1TB.

i super kiasu abt storage. i using a 4-Bay Raid NAS (4 * 1TB) to store my files. so i got no worries of losing then even if one of the harddisk crashed. plus i backed up the photos in a spare 500GB ext harddisk.

yeah, somehow i like to keep bad photos as they remind of the 'process' after several tries to get a good one.haha.

two external HDD is the minimum... a 500 gb, 2.5" is only $150 each. 1 tb 3.5" around the same price.

A one terabyte Hitachi 16MB 7K 1000 only cost $133 (without casing).

is this external HDD?

hahaha you should stop keeping ALL your photos!
The bad ones you should downsize them just for memory sake, then they wouldn't take up so much space. I certainly wouldn't want them stored as RAW files when I have no need for them in future.
