Photo size for Uploading

Im going to post photos in the gallery / flikr / wateva.

What is the appropiate / common size for me to post in in order not to oversize the picture
wen viewed in your monitor.

Pls advise.

131 posts and you haven't seen any of the existing newbies guides or any of the pictures in the photo gallery forum categories??? You could just use the same dimensions as the pictures posted there, no?
