Is it a must to process/photoshop photos ?
What are the basics to process then ?

it depends on people.

some people print straight off the camera, some will just edit.

normally , the simplest people do are

1) adjust brightness/contrast
2)sharpness
3) light balance ?
4) crop the picture

those are the most basic editing to me

does everybody edit their photos ?
which areas fall in the must edit kinda category ?

Why are you posting more than once?

I'm not "everybody", so I can't answer for "everybody"... but I do edit my photo.
The MUST edt thing is the thing that you cannot tolerate.

does everybody edit their photos ?
you like asking "does everybody eat their food cooked?"
answer: it depends, not everybody eat their food cooked/edit their photos...

those areas which if you think you can improve it by using software after the shots being taken.

.

sorry ! i didnt realised i posted more than once ! i'm new here ! really sorry !

For me at least, yes I do edit my photos to "enhance" them.

But your question is very subjective. If you're happy with what you take with your camera, leave it and do not post-process. If not you can try to "enhance"/edit them, but don't over do it.
