Photo Op During Upcoming GE

With the GE coming really soon, I wonder if we can go down to the polling stations during election day, and also during the "colourful" rallies in the evening to take pictures.
I think it will be quite an interesting challenge.
Anyone has any experience in this?

Polling station, cannot. If you have no official business there, you are not to be within 200m of any polling station.

Rallies-- yes, can, but to get good shots from stage or near stage, you may want to register with the parties involved to get some reserved seats near the front.

candidates are not allowed 200m from the polling station
but not too recently some blundering politicians were found
inside of 50m from the polling stations :D

Ok...It seems photo-taking at and near polling station is a bit tricky, unless we have press credentials.
As for rallies, I tried once many years ago during a WP rally. Got a good shot of Francis Seow.
