Found this low-profile contest... Why not give it a try, who knows one of us might walk away with 2000SGD cash :bsmilie:

Take part in this photography competition and stand to win great prizes! Simply capture images of your neighbourhood - be it the people, landscape or traditional customs and practices being carried out that mean something to you. It's that simple!

Open (There's another youth category too!)
First Prize: $2,000
Second Prize: $1,000
Third Prize: $800
Three Merit Awards: $500

Top 50 photos shortlisted: Certificate of Achievement
People's Choice Award: Certificate of Achievement + Product Prizes
Submission

* You can submit a maximum of 6 photographs in either colour or monochrome.
* Each entry must be accompanied with a caption of not more than 100 words on what the photo represents to you.
* Entries must be submitted online via www.heritagefest.sg before 11.59pm on 1 June 2009.
* Winners will be informed by the organisers by 20 June 2009.
