People Snapshots in Tibet

hi,

took these snapshots on human subjects during my recent trip to tibet, would appreciate it if you guys can give your comment and advice on how to improve.

adjustments done : b&w conversion, brightness & sharpening.

thanks a lot !

1. curiosity
children peeking curiously while i was having breakfast. manigango, a town near the border of tibet / sichuan.

2. devotion
an old lady pilgrim with prayer wheel. samye monastery, shannan, tibet.

3. faith
a common sight in tibet. lhasa, tibet.

4. mouthful
a tibetan boy with grandpa, enjoying an apple. somewhere near tagong, sichuan.

5. sunny
a sunny smile in a sunny day. yilhun la-tso, alpine lake near manigango.

The shot "Faith" has a great visual impact to me when I view your series.
A great shot.
Curiosity is another good shot.
As for the B& W, it seems greyish.

thanks guys for the comment.
i adjusted the overall brightness of the photos, as they appeared a little dark on my monitor. don't know whether this caused them to look greyish. probably need to calibrate my monitor.

Nice shots there :thumbsup: Love the 1st and 4th shots, prefer bigger DOF for the last one to see some of the pretty background over there. Pity that I never got a chance to go there yet
