Which is a better choice for a difference of maybe $200?

Who has a better image stabilizer? And better out of camera colour? Kindly advise thank you:)

wa lau

camera colour not just to do with body, lens will also affect it

just look at the specs itself, both are quite different, like potatoes and peas
you won't compare an orange with an apple, would you
they are in different classes of dslr
it'd be more fair to compare k10d with sony alpha frankly

you want bang for buck, assuming you won't buy any lenses, sony alpha frankly lor
but i hear that sony lenses are expensive, from the sony people themselves - not sure about third party
each brand/system has something going for them - and frankly i think both are good cameras which are value for money

why don't you try them out yourself at shops before deciding
best not to rely too much too much on IS, proper handholding technique will help you out as well

The reason i don't consider K10d is because i prefer camera with scene mode.:p

I saw the K10D, I know its a good camera, but i thought it might be too advance for me.
