Hi All,

Thanks for coming to our 3 year anniversary event today, it's good to see quite a few new guys there, and some long-time-no-see oldies as well. Although the weather wasn't great for taking photos, I'm sure you guys had as much fun as I did :)

As usual, please share your photos here. I'll start w/ our group photos:

Ya, too bad it's raining, managed to get few shots only. Nevertheless, it was a fun outing ^^

Didn't get chance to use the monster lens for birds, only managed to take two quick snaps:

I wondered off to the Rain Forest, nothing interesting there.
Great meeting new & old friends.

Hi Frank,
The color is natural and nice, bokesh is smooth and clean and the sharpness is good too on these portrait, Too bad the weather didn't give you chance to take smaller subject. How much PP works you have done on the 2 images?:)

Didn't shoot much, and ran away when it rained. It's very nice to see you guys and some new friends. The FA600 F4 is surely impressive, and huge!
A few shots to share.

Hey Loke, good to see you posting here :D

You know I'm not a PP guy, I don't process much on my photos. I took these two in RAW, applied a little bit curve before converting them to JPG with Pentax Digital Camera Utility (bundled w/ Pentax cameras), then resize and a bit sharpening in Adobe CS. That's all.

Other than the two photos taken by the montster, I only got these few w/ the much smaller DA21:

And you still think we all need a dSLR to take photos? :

joined the group for about 2 hours in the morning, got a good look of the 600mm lens..... and had much fun in the "dog" garden.
