Haw Par Villa is a nice place to take photos. Too bad I missed the outing...Keep the photos coming! And where is the K30? Maybe the "mystery gift" that Fengwei was giving out are the new K30s !

Venkat (Nikihunter) the 8-16 is indeed a fun lens to use almost 'fisheye like' in perspective.

It seems like I visit this place every 10yrs or so, and every time I'm there, the layout and mode of operation of the place has changed a bit.

Great to be able to check out the K-30. I think its a winner.

Hmm....this K-30 is not bad ..... (shh... cannot admit it here to them)

Yes, but it is not simple as 10.5mm fish eye or 17-50mm Tamron. But is fun to use, happy with its performance and view angle so far. Have to explore more...

It was nice meeting everybody and have a little chitchat, I had fun and it was nice to see the K-30 as well. I wasn't able to shoot much specially at Labrador park as we came in late already. But anyway here are some of my shots.

I came to see the K-30, but I think I was enamored more with Reynaldo's MZ-30 with DA40XS.

Things didn't go well for me. First my F28-80 failed on location, and when I got to my PC, only I found out my SD card got corrupted. In case you're wondering, I'm the guy who was spinning my lens like crazy. I'm recovering my SD card at the moment. If I fail to recover anything, then I can only wait for the film shots. Really sad.
