Hi All,

Thanks for those who joined the outing, I'm sure you guys had quite a bit fun there :)

This round not many guys joined, probably because of the location? Anyway, it's good to see some new and old friends. Hope we'd see more people joining next round.

As usual, please post your photos here. Here is our small group photo:

#2 Wolf Spider (quite wasted - i missed a few shots of its front legs so stacking was a failure :( )

thanks but the spider was really disappointing :( not what i was hoping to achieve.

Donald, I do find your flash power a little on the high side, imho.:) Maybe some diffusers or lower the power will help.

i know... i'm starting to see the limitation of using ring flash... flat light, hot-spots.

the af160 can, in theory, vary its flash power based on p-ttl metering but its so cranky today that i just adjusted flash power manually. lowest power already but still quite strong. the bright sunlight doesn't help... arrgh...

Didn't shoot much as was just looking for birds to shoot but not much luck. Using K-5 and F*300mm and managed to shoot this 2 species.

Nice catch. Interesting pigeon species, did not even know it existed till now.

Where the tombstones pictures at? So taboo meh? ;p I'll kick it off with a few.

It was actually pretty bright, so I decided to moodify my pictures with lots of vignetting, opacity and tonal contrast.

I could have controled the DOF better, but I was too happy getting reaquainted with the M50/1.7 at 2.8. ;p

Hey, Desmon, When did you shoot them? We stayed together for quite long time, how didn't I have the luck, even to see them? haha

Baracus, I like your effect you applied. Interesting.

Thanks JK, this is the first time i see this pigeon also. So far have not seen it in other parts of Singapore.
