Not surprising, now that Samsung has released a K-mount DSLR. I'm wondering which other companies would fold up or merge.DT_ said:indeed few a pentax user these days.. but rumours say that pentax and samsung is merging.. didnt know more..
i'm not too sure abt their 135 cameras but their 120 cameras like 67,67II & 645,N,NII(i hav used all of them)...are good cameras...nikonpicture said:i think all systems are good system.

kelvinang said:More accurately, they are co-operating to work on manufacturing DSLRs. Pentax has a history with working with other companies, often by supplying their lenses and their partners supplying the electronics. HP and Casio are the recent examples in the compact digital cameras market.
I wouldn't be surprised to find Pentax making lenses for mobile phones in the future, if they are not already doing so.

... I also read somewhere that Pentax will introduce a high-end pro DSLR next year, but I can't seem to find it now. I think they're trying to do the "LX" thing in DSLRs again.
