Guys, thanks for the meet up. It's good to see familiar faces, and also great to see some new joiners into the Pentax/Ricoh Family. Always appreciate the TCSS, and the gear sharing, and the next pentax lens to acquire.

I can also see some who will soon be adding a grip to their K1!

So let me just start first with a shot taken slightly earlier before the meet. I did not upload the max resolution cos' it's just way too large. If I have a chance to show you the image in person - I can see even the Bank of Singapore razor sharp. Pentax K1 is truly remarkable.

Bernard, thanks for starting the thread.
Nice pict! :)

Always good to catch up with everyone and meet some new faces.

Another try today at Pixel shift, this time using PDCU.

I think I sharpened it up a bit in the PDCU, but overall I think this is the software to better make use of the PixS file.
The quality of the sensor (whatever Pentax did to it) and the Samyang 14/2.8 is incredible to me.

Go to the largest file :

Even license plates and info off the tourist info center on the bottom left corner is readable.

Not a small feat for any 14-15mm lens.

It has been a long time since joined the outing to Garden By The Bay on July 21, 2012.
How times flies and my K3 shuttle count remain low. :embrass:

Great to meet old & new friends this morning.
Nothing spectacular to share except some candid shots with FA*80-200.

FA*80-200 on artificial flowers.

This is one of the great lenses certainly.

FA135/2.8

Trying out more 'scapes' using longer focal length lenses.

LOL.. i was about to do one with K135, but found out that the exposure metering don't work with older lenses. And swap with Yama FA77 to test the exposure metering work. In then end, I took one landscape photo with it.

Hope pentax can update their 135mm lenses too.. 135 F2 or F2.5 :X :X

One more with K135 F2.5, taken by Greg.. happy pentaxian!!!

one quick way is to use the green button..just set your aperture and use the green button to get your shutter speed

here's one with you k135
