It's a short outing w fewer people showed up, but I'm sure those who came had quite a bit fun there.

I was there a little earlier before meeting you guys up at HF Macs. Always nice meeting new faces, and good to see a few "senior" members around.
Congratulations all winners of the 1st Pentax Photo Comp!

A shot of the broadwalk slightly after first light. Nice and quiet, and enjoying the morning breeze.

I think Starcruise's @the back, but it's moving along ...​

Used to climb these, having gone up to fix some RFID equipments.
Caught these while the day's breaking.

Was thinking of panning with the FA, but got lazy.
Here's a shot of the frontal view​

Heads down ... that seems to be the typical younger crowd these days.
Maybe looking up, and equipped with a Pentax camera, they'll see interesting things other than their feet or ipod/iphone.

And of course, not forgetting my favourite subjects -

Yes, FA77 doesn't have a closer focus, but it compensates that with shallow DOF and buttery bokeh.
I hope I didn't do that badly with this lens ... ;-)

Looks like you all had a great outing. Sorry I can't join in. Busy plus a little under the weather too.
The FA77 is alluring but I am still happy with the DA70 2.4

By the way, why is there a red ring on your sigma?!

FengWei, as usual, the Pentaxian jump-up pic rocks!

Simon, I am really surprised you managed to squeeze that pole and its reflection into the picture #1. And #9 was quite a spot.
Anyways, I don't think I'll be able to tame this 8-16. But I may just get the 10-17 as a fun lens to have.

The FA77 is alluring but I am still happy with the DA70 2.4

Just in case FF comes along, you'll be ready with 77. BBB!

Hi, thank you. My pp workflow is super simple 1. Clone? I don't know how to clone such a big flag off!! :-(

Too bad we didn't get to see you in person and the sigma 500 handheld!

By the way, why is there a red ring on your sigma?!

8mm is very difficult to compose . Sometime I tot ok with my cam screen but then after go back look at computer screen , found a lot of unwanted "thing" all inside ....

My Sigma is a "L" version .... that's Y got the red ring .... It's a sticker that I paste for all my lens lah

I am considering to get a fisheye too . But then 10-17 is a bit too exp for me ... was looking at samyang 8mm fisheye , as the review are quite good . But then I can't imaging me trying to compose with another 8mm .... prime some more ....

I like yr 1st photo (the one after the 1st light) and Quay Cranes.

In-fact last night gummy and me was still discussing should we go down early to catch the 1st light . Then we realize it was 1am + already ..... -.-'"
