Just got back but I think many still there at Yishun Park! Have missed alot of outings the past few months and finally managed to join in and what a pleasant surprise, free mini Pentax camera keychains (sponsored by Emjay). Thanks to Emjay and to Fengwei for distributng it. Do upload your photos here! :) Of course, not forgetting the main attraction :

Thanks, Richard.. That's fast.

Great to see you @ the meet, and I guess the Kay 0 1 the main attraction for the day.

Always enjoyed our Pentax meet up, and banter we have during the kopi/breakfast time. Only 2 that I kinda like from the morning shoot

#1 - LSR jetty in monochrome

#2 - Fisherman wannabe

Prototype firmware (pls note)

Its prototype atm, PDCU does not even process the file properly for now (update expected soon)

Anyway, a great outing, only that the sun rise always don't come into place
Today's outing is more for another itinerary.. hehe...

How i wish the pre production model is in yellow/black .. :bsmilie:

Couldn't wake up for sunrise, went to Mac for breakfast straight.

All taken with K5 and DFA100mm WR

Something you can challenge other camera users to do with their camera and surely WIN with the K-01 :D

If there is a lesson to be learned for me today, its "don't use something that is untested and done up last minute" :)
I did up this flash diffuser yesterday night and thought that it would work great, but I guess the diffuser material was too translucent so the lighting off it was pretty harsh.

Few considered ~ok~ for post (actually I think all fail for harsh lighting.. )

I used the hood-loupe today and its the 1st time for macro.
The hit rate is unbelievably high.
All these below were taken in 1 shot. No retakes.

Now I see the advantage of the brick block type design.

---- you dont need a tripod to shoot portrait and landscape
