The 2 Q lenses seem interesting.

A 45/1.8 lens (equivalent of a 207/1.8 on Q7/Q-S1 ! )

The other is a improved 06 zoom that focuses closer up to 35cm.

The last lens is a 7/2.6 for m4/3, which might just be a patent application to lock down the design rather than suggest the m4/3 route.

200mm f1.8 sounds cool, should be cheaper than 4000+ sgd canon EF 200mm f1.8. :)

The 7/2.6 is just a projector lens by Ricoh...45/1.8 is not equivalent to 200/1.8. In terms of depth of field, it is equivalent to 200/8 of 135 format.

it is more fun and exciting to say it 200mm equivalent f1.8 lens than 200mm f8 equivalent

that is why those bridge compact cameras advertisement only mention focal length equivalent and never mention aperture equivalent

Yes of course its about f8 in 135 format.
But f1.8 is really fast for light gathering at 200mm eq.

I reserve any judgement of this lens until it comes out (if ever).
And then there is the question of pricing.
I have been able to get some shallow DOF shots with the 06 for small objects despite all the "theoretical write off" that its about f12 in DOF equivalence to 135 format.
So f1.8 should be better, though of course thats not ever going to be the strength of the Q system.

Sure u can get enough separation even with Q and shallow DOF isn't always a good thing.
