does anybody know how much is the ongoing price for a used F 50/1.4?
I couldn't find any reference for this lens.



& the price for D-BG3 battery grip ???

I think that lens is pretty rare, have never seen it show up on the buy/sell before

any special reason why you want to go for a legacy lens?

probably easier to source an FA 50. same focal length, same max aperture, AF and similar construction. IQ should be similar as well.

I have A 50 1.7, cant tell the different between them as im new in this hobby.
Give up manual focus for A, why F n not FA purely curious lah.

WOW F50 1.4 at USD 270. It's a good deal. I was thinking it should be costing more towards USD 300 onwards.

A is manual lens. F is 1st generation Autofocus lens. FA is the next generation AF lens.

Unless you are hunting for exotics or paying much less for the F version.

why much less? generally F is better built than FA.
the barrel inside F is mental. FA is actually later cost-down version with more plastic parts.
