One of my PC broke down this morning, unable to detect harddisc, can't boot up.

I'm not good at computer hardware, so can't DIY, also don't want to spend to much time on this.

can recommend anyone able to do house call, location @ Punggol?

or any particular shops in Sim Lim Square or any other places can recommend?

Thanks for reading. :)

Fyi, today is April 1st, there are tons of virus coming out to attack today, some of these may have been hiding inside the computer till today (trojan horse).

Not sure if you are willing to spend some time reformatting before getting help. Of course, if you have never back up your data, this will wept out everything. Did you manage to go into Safe Mode and do a scan? I doubt so looking at your process.

It is high chance that your PC could be infected. Even if you manage to get back to norm, the virus inside can still be activated. So, reformatting could be the best way out. Very troublesome and time consuming, but the best possible way.

How old is the computer? Very familiar situation. What I did the last time was to change CMOS battery clock and everything went fine. Just bring down SLS man and see what they can do for you. Go to Cybermind tech guys for help.
