Your shots look out of focus and speckled. Deliberate effect?

In the first shot, what's your subject? The people? Or the annoying bright LED yo-yo? For me, the yo-yo ruins the shot as it distracts from the dawn sky.

The red thingy has taken all my attention, and it meas nothing le. And the 2 people seemed unconcerted doing different thing, kinda mess it up. Perhaps taken with the left person out of pic would be better.

i think TS is trying to create a silhouette for the background. too noisy and composition doesnt look dramatic enough IMO. can be better! maybe 1 person there will do.

the 2nd picture (which is according to guidelines shouldn't be there) has no meaning to it! like a friendly snap shot of a friend or a stranger.
