I have a Mac + Aperture 3 + Nikon capture NX software.

I use the automate feature in Photoshop. Shld be available from version 4 and above.

I think Aperture 3 and Nikon Capture NX cannot do panorama stitching.

Kolor's Autopano is pretty nifty as well. GIMP and/or its associated plugins can do panorama stitching as well.

If memory serves me right the "automate->Photomerge" function is already present in the first CS. But definitely CS2 at least.

If you are looking at dedicated precise stitching software, you can search for Hugin, an amazing freeware stitching program.

I support Hugin as well. Incredible results with minimum effort
