just wonder if this camera is good enough for night shots ??? anyone likes night shots ??

Any camera can take a night shot, provided you know how to tweak the settings, set it on a steady tripod, ensure that the histogram is balanced. If you're talking about taking pictures on the go in the dark, i think most p&s slim cameras are inadequate; even if you have super steady hands, your subjects will be moving and the ccd on these slim toys are just too small.

Don't be duped by digicams crappy sales pitch like megapixels and etc. Panasonic cams isnt right for nightshots from my experience with a few. If u want nightshots, get a diff brand. I don't know about the fx7, but just look at the nightshots below:

well if u only taking night scene, i wun recommend (though i have one n i like it), the noise just cmi... for daytime taking this is the perfect one.
