On THURSDAY 19 September the participants will be shooting at Toa Payoh , Joo Chiat and Jalan Besar heartlands of our country
This is also Panasonic Day , as they will be the lead sponsor on that day
Panasonic is supporting this day with
1. Flying renowned German/Australian photographer Gunther Deichmann to walk and shoot with us that day
2. Making available several sets of its latest M4/3 camera the GX7 for use
I would like to invite Clubsnappers to come join our Photowalk at Toa Payoh, Joo Chiat and Jalan Besar that day
Meals are not catered and DIY. Seek your understanding.
OK here is the itinerary for that day
Panasonic Day !
7am Toa Payoh Block 79 Toa Payoh Central (next to Toa Payoh Community Center and Police Station) 12th floor obversation deck for morning sunrise landscape shoot
8am+ Toa Payoh markets at Block 72 and 73 at Lorong 4
9am to 11.30am From there we will split into TWO groups walk and shoot the heartlands through to Shuang Lin Temple at Kim Keat Link
and Sri Vairavimada Hindu Temple at Lorong 8 switching between these 2 places
12pm everyone meets back at Toa Payoh Community Club for lunch at 2nd floor badminton hall
Gunther will give a short photo presentation before lunch
I ASK for some understanding here....ha ha .... IF there is enough space, of course please do join us for makan. IF its crowded, please be automatic, there is a coffee shop next door where you can have your meal
At about 1.30pm we will head over to the Toa Payoh Public Library . NATIONAL LIBRARY BOARD has kindly agreed to
allow us to shoot within the library (this is a RARE opportunity to shoot in a public library)
After that we continue shooting around the busy Toa Payoh Central area till 3pm
Grab your own transport to Joo Chiat if you wish to continue joining us
At 3pm coaches will transport participants to Joo Chiat Road to shoot the entire stretch beginning at the Market and Food Court of Geylang Serai Market through to Katong 112 Mall
By 5.30pm we should be at Dunlop Street , Weld Road, Campbell Lane area of Little India. Look for us there if you wish to join us for the late afternoon early evening shoot . We will all be wearing black polo LumixG shirts so its quite easy to hook up !
The outing ends for you at about 7pm .
No need to start a list because of the different locations and going to be too tough to manage a list
