I'm a newbie to the M4/3 system. I have an OM-D and recently purchased the Pana 25 mm. While taking test shots wide open at F1.4, I noticed severe purple fringing as shown in the 2 test shots. Before making my purchase, I had previously read reports about the 25mm minor purple fringing issues at wide open. However, I wasn't expecting anything as severe as what was shown (Florescent lights in the first pic, Street and Xmas Tree lights in the second pic).
Stopping down to F4 did improve the issue but nonetheless, the results wide open surprises me. For those of you who own this lens, is this normal or did I purchase a defective lens? Thank you in advance for your replies.
