Very interesting pictures! I feel it makes daily scenes look really different... and mysterious.

What brand, and how much was your filter?

Its Hoya R72 Near-infrared filter, abt $25+

For the Hoya R72 at 52mm it's abt $25+ so it's relatively affordable.

If I'm not mistaken ur C2040 is one of the models that can take very good IR pics! Hope u can get hold of the filter ;)

Point to note: Usual IR pics are either reddish or converted to grayscale. The greenish tint that u see are caused by the one-touch WB in C700UZ.
