besides those expensive $200 + dollars reflectors for outdoor shoots, what else can I use to replace that with something cheaper? :dunno:

Don't think it will lah bro. The light would still be quite harsh. A softbox soften the light. You will need to play around with the settings to achieve what you want.Del_CtrlnoAlt said:i am wondering... if i use those styrofoam box (use for storing fishes & such) den cut a hole in the middle of it, put a flash in, will it look like a softbox?

Hmmm I guess you could. Yes you will need a white cloth to soften or difussed the light. come to think of it you might just be able to make it. Eh let me try when you finish doing your ok.Del_CtrlnoAlt said:den can i cut the cover into 4 & act like a barn door?
hmm i think it will need a white cloth as well... maybe its time i make a cheap softbox to try...

This is a great idea, I'm sure it will work, why I never thought of this before?
