Outing at Singapore Flyer for outdoor lighting portraits
Time is Sunday, 4pm, 01 August 2010 to meet up at Singapore Flyer Popeye fast food restaurant.
4.30pm move off to location next to seaside between the Flyer and the F1 Pit building.
May end around 7pm or delay a bit and do some flash portrait with sunset ( city backdrop ).
In case of bad weather, we retreat to the Benjamin Sheares Bridge ( demonstrate flash portrait techniques ) or back to the Popeye's restaurant to wait it out.
I hope for a clear blue sky day to demonstrate the kind of shots that is on my flickr page but no guarantees.
Items to bring -
Translucent white umbrella - for shade and to use as a light modifier
Reflectors - optional but good to have
DSLR or any camera you have - outdoors, any cam would do.
Flash ( i always bring one just in case i need it )
Tripod for flash ( i recommend using flash off the camera )
Everyone is welcome but I don't check attendance.
If you are late, just call someone on the list that you know as I may be too busy.
Also, I noticed from previous outings I tend to receive my sms messages about 3 hours later.
The outing is free and everyone can share their experience.
I urge everyone to try the techniques on the spot rather than just listen.
