My very first attempt at shooting at very high shutter speed to freeze motion.

What do you guys think?

Very clean!! But I love it abit more exposed, so that I can see more detail of the swirl.

Nice shot, but i get the feeling its a bit over exposed specially the water. The orange looks good. It would be nice if you could also share how you created this shot and what gear u've used.

haah sure... i got the technique from here http://www.flickr.com/groups/technique/discuss/65855/

As u can see the master's shots are purrfect.. like gardnier ads lol... and the real pain is in the photoshop part... also partly beacuse i din light my scene properly for the shoot cause i got no background in lighting....

heh shld try it out its loads of fun... maybe we can post our experiments and discuss about the technique... just a thought...

I think you have lost the effect. The water is almost impossible to see. It is overexposed. Play around more with it.
