Never been with Minolta before, but what is the golden setup for 7D from wide angle
to super tele, including macros?
:)

Bro, are you spying for Canon? :bsmilie:

You are welcome to drop in but I don't understand what do you mean by "the golden setup".
The 7D is only available in black and so are the lenses except for a few which are off-white. :)
And I haven't seen any KMOSer using gold gaffer tape yet.
If you want a golden setup, contact Oracle and maybe he can do something about gold-plating the setup you want. :bsmilie:
But seriously -
You listed a very wide range when asking about an optimal lens setup.
One can list what one feels are the best lenses but in combination, there will be too many variations. Though it helps that the range is reduced because they all have AS and we don't have to decide between IS or non-IS. ;)
Perhaps it would help if you clarify what kind of shoots the setup should be optimised for.

Well I guess if money is not the problem...

G lenses, nuff said.

17-35mm, 50mm, 135mm, 70-200mm....

What is an optimal lens setup? I mean that varies according to what u shoot and your style of shooting. So what does the thread starter mean?

Canon have their L lens.
Nikon have their Trinity Lenses.
Minolta have our G lens.

Want to shoot landscapes, get wide Gs. Want to shoot closeups, get telephoto SSM Gs.
