Oprah Winfrey began the final season of her talk show with a dramatic gift to her audience - announcing she would fly them all to Australia, with Hollywood star John Travolta piloting the aircraft.

IIRC He owns a 707 jet and he has an estate in one of the airport where a private taxiway goes all the way to the front door!

a taxiway, an aerobridge, probably a hanger right to his door step. Amazing! Maybe next time should take Qantas and see if lucky enough to catch John Travolta's voice "cabin crew, doors to manual"....

Oprah Winfrey is bloody rich. I remembered she gave each of her audience a car some time back. Of course the audience is selected prior to the show. How did a TV host become so bloody rich?
