Hi all OPC owner, what is your view regarding this improvement?

http://app.lta.gov.sg/corp_press_content.asp?start=2181

There are some benefits and good improvement from such improvement but in my view i see it another way to get vitamin M from the citizens.

1) if people drive, another way to absorb ERP, better than park there and no credit generate in the carpark.

2) What if you drive urgently and the next day flew off and totally forget about getting the e-coupon?? Fine will near you, beware !!!

Anyone sharing ??

(1) I think there's no linkage about extension of the OPC scheme and ERP. Whether to choose to enter town is the driver's decision. I can still drive an OPC on a Sat without entering ERP during peak hours.

(2) Again, LTA has provided this convenience to OPC owners, so that they do not have to go SingPost to purchase paper coupons. This not only added to the convenience, but is also environmental friendly. Whether to drive and forget is entirely the owner's fault. One can purchase the e-coupon first and drive. Of course, if one chooses to drive then buy, then he has to responsibility to ensure that he purchase the e-coupon after that.
