does the caption help bring meaning to the pic?

The subject doesn't stand out. Maybe selectively color the person and brolly.

The shot is very grainy and the subject is lost in the foreground. Took me a good few minutes to find the person and brolly. What ISO did you use to shoot this?

I was distracted by the slanting building and trying to find a buidling with brolly roof ..sorry bro, don't work for me :(

yup thanks all,
noted the comments....
I knew its not a good shot right from the start....

anyway switch track a bit,
the graininess was meant to make the pic rustic.
Lets not focus on the composition anymore...
does the pic below look real enough to be old and worn?

Took sometime to find the brolly in the picture. Not obvious enough if that is your main intention.

really took me some time to find the brolly and understand it. =\

no. you need to blur it more before the grain, for an old photo look the focus seems too sharp on

and skip the funky ps stuff at the side, add yellow color maybe

hahaha took me awhile to find the brolly.
i understand the concept, but as what the others said here, maybe a little tidying up or PP will help.

looking at the pic is like trying to find wally. :)

i feel that using PS to make the pic more interesting when the composition is weak doesn't work for me. sorry.

When I finally found the brolly, the caption is appropriate. Maybe can help us by letting a little colour on the man with the brolly.

not only your subject is small and the brolly hard to detect, even the subject is blocked by the bridge railings.

Just trying to see how it would looked if brolly was selectively colored. Not a good coloring job but that's not the point. Hope u don't mind me editting it.

i like the graininess but the others are right, the brolly is hard to spot..
