The points of this Human Rights Watch are really laughable. Seems they don't understand much about economy.
Bankers will care about it, but in a different way: the more the government oppresses free speech and other side effects of democracy the less likely are any substantial changes to the economic frame conditions (rules and regulations) by any change in government. Which means in return: Singapore will remain a quiet small dot where money can grow and prosper and people are asked to sh*t up
