what is the recommended size/resolution for posting on the net ?

recommended size is less than 700 horizontally.

There are other issues include additional server cost, connections cost, among others.

Of cause if you are willing contribute $$$ to benefic the rest of the members so they can have free hosting, you are most welcome.

Unlimited quotas...... free access.... and it is managed by Sony..

yeah man..hard to find these days....
storage space that allows linking.

homex allows but it #^#$&^#$%@ fouls up most of the time, say give 20mb but always got error msg.
