Bro,

This forms the chinese character YI. One.

Just 2 cents worth, rotating the picture to portriat 90 degrees clockwise might protray the alphabet 1 and also makes it interesting...dont know how good it will be though.

Regards,

nice one there... how did you keep the centre portion focused, but the sides blur??
sorry i did not look in here for awhile

when shooting at 1:1 magnification your DOF is really razor thin
so by just adjusting the plane of focus to not be parallel to the subject

I am sorry, can you please explain what do you mean by 1 : 1?

1:1 as in scale

context - during the old film days
the resulting image on the negative/slides is the same size as the subject

for example: if you take a photo of a ruler's scale and then measure the resulting image on the film, 1cm scale on the ruler would be 1cm in lenght on the film.

I hope i managed to explain it well.

Love the colours and the composition. The DOF is so shallow though that it's distracting.

thanks for noticing

Razor thin DOF is an aquired taste,
works for some, while distracting for others
I am always trying to refine it.

for me i do not like it to be too perfect
