On the streets of China (Day 1) Part 1

Hi

i'm currently in Beijing, China for a short business trip and here are some street pics from the first day (actually first day was yesterday - today is the second).

compared to singapore, the streets of Beijing seems to offer much more, and the people are friendlier and more approachable.

the laptop i have with me is incapable of processing images like these without choking, so stuff posted here are direct JPEG conversions from the D30 raw files without any form of post processing. Shots with the 1v are of course, not ready yet. for 2 days, i can't find a single processing lab except a dinghy old store. And this part of Beijing i am in seems quite backward - can't even see a Macdonalds anywhere.

hi, to be honest, i have no idea which part
all i know is my hotel is Hua Bei Hotel, and it's just across the street from my company's branch in China.

most of the shots i posted are from this area called "AnXiHuaLi"

will try to go more places during the weekend.
on weekdays i'm stuck in office most of the time working
