Had coffee with Kevin and he informed me that he was given the camera to play with but if he do like the camera he will share some pictures and compliments at the end of the talk. He was unaware that he will be tagged as a Olympus speaker and his talk never intended to be one. What is the arrangement?

Please do not announce this publicly as Kevin has not agreed to be an Olympus spokesman.

I have yet to inform Olympus on this arrangement with Kelvin.

If he is not comfortable, I'll just have to collect back to camera and return to Olympus and get them to seek their own speaker.

Hi all,

Many many thanks for the organization of the event - I don't think I would have been able to do as good as the efforts put in so far, and I sincerely show my appreciation to all who have pitched in thus far.

I will get the events input into eventzilla,net and have the system ready to accept registrations.

Some additional details needed:-
1. Max allowable registrations
2. Any reserved allocations.
3. Number of "over-registrations" aka KIV list (to bump up in event of people cancellation) - believe the system will handle automatically.

According to my brief hands-on and testing, the system will be able to issue tickets to be printed out by the registrant and we will have the lists to check off attendance.

I am only playing a small part and I should be the one thanking all the on-the-ground organisers.

The sub-forum for the talks and walks has been set up - 10th Anniversary - Seminars and PhotoWalks

For #1 - it will have to be a manual process and we can cancel their registration after review. That will allow other members to register.

For #2 - I will make the registration subforum with the links to the event registration accessible to everyone except the new members (less than 30 days). It won't be a full solution as the URL links may still leak out, but at least will be a deterrent.

The registration system is a 3rd-party system and does not link back to our software so the functions you listed above are not available. We will have to code and develop our own registration system if we need those functions.
